Passeig de Gracia strikes me as the street with the most beautiful architecture in Barcelona. It's apparently the most expensive street on which to buy or rent in the city. It runs north from Placa de Catalunya and is an important business and shopping area. This block has some particularly interesting buildings, including Casa Amatller and Casa Batllo in the middle of this photograph. The latter was restored by Antoni Gaudi.
